About us

Data Science Academy is the first free data science academy in Lithuania for students with programming experience or specialists in other fields who want to change their career direction. The academy's goal is to give people the opportunity to improve, learn and take their first steps in data science.

Artūras Katvickis

Artūras Katvickis is a lecturer at the Data Science Academy. He is a math guru and an expert in his field who will be your teacher, mentor, and facilitator for all three months of the course and answer any questions you may have. The lecturer has exceptional, long-term experience in the field of data science – he taught at the Kaunas University of Technology for ten years, then worked in international foreign capital companies for five years.

The fun part of machine training is seeing a model that works properly. Still, it is often a long way to go after that. Therefore, the goal of the course is to put together initial landmarks along this path.

Where to join?

You just need to fill out the form below and wait for the confirmation letter with a short assignment. We will wait for the completed task until February 1. We will contact the selected candidates by mail and send all the necessary information.

Academy lectures will be held on Mondays (Kauno Dokas, Jonavos St. 7) and Thursdays (BLC Conference Center, K. Donelaičio St. 62) from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Academy is open to university and college students studying mathematics or programming.
